For this picture I was experimenting with different formats and typography. Yet I do like both versions, the one on the left has a nice color range in the sky. The one on top also has some good aspects that taught me some more on design and composition. In the end I do think that without a proper reason to add typography and graphic elements to a picture, the one on the left is still more powerful on it's own.

Acrylic Painting

A three hour sessions where i used acrylic and oil pastels. Inspiration comes from a French soldier from WWI.

WIP New painting - Sea

Getting more time to paint on Photoshop so I will now post more regularly new images. Trying to work using shapes, forcing strong contrast and using the abstract do some of the narrative. The boat still needs a lot of rendering and correcting as does the background. I still like the sort of parchment look it has but the sails as well definitely need work. I might do something crazy with them.
