Ide II

Heres a quick idea for the layout though I think it might be a bit too much.

Ide

I haven't been very active lately but i'll do some more now. My main idea revolves around the effects of time and distortion. The slow passing of time is always something that has been present in the psyches of people. Personally I have always been intrigued by grand father clocks. These massive objects, with their incessant ticking and sudden outbursts of musical notification of another step taken towards the future. I did not want to create a classic design, wanting to achieve a more surreal object. Yet my objective is not to go completely overboard with the design so it does stay quit traditional and classic. I like spheres and circles as thematic and visual objects. They fill the space in a way I enjoy, and their presence should smooth the whole mood.

I started with some designs of the clock.

My goal is still to achieve inverted shadows. The designs I did after involved more spheres to smooth the style and create a break with classic clocks.

Though I was quit happy with the sort of metallic clock, I preferred the more traditional look. So I altered the looks, and tried something else which I will try and model.

And this is my maya render.

Still more detail to add on the head of the clock and some more random stuff.

Christmas Hat

Merry Christmas!

I did kill a polar bear, a procupine, some other animal and a nice red Racoon, the only one alive.

Is Surrealism uncanny?

Ideas

I want to try and create a very bright and joyful scene, yet with something odd about it. I don't believe uncanny implies darkness, and I am sure that seemingly happy scene might seem even more odd than not.

Thumnails

I want to have inverse shadows in my piece.
